To understand any slow computer fix we need to have some general information to work from and assess our individual situation. Computers are confusing at best to most people. A poorly optimized registry can be simple described as a maze. It takes many loops and turns to get from the beginning of the maze to the end. You want your computer to take the shortest and fastest route to get you up and running as fast as possible.
